ABOUT A DOSE OF DISNEY:

A Dose of Disney was a weekly 1-hour live online broadcast through the Lute Air Student Radio at the Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. The show was dedicated to celebrating the magic of Disney, and the joy it can bring to fans all around the world. Each show combined Disney music with a Disney topic. The live online broadcast for LAS can be accessed at plu.edu/lasr. The first broadcast for A Dose of Disney was in April of 2018, and the show continued until May of 2019 (once I graduated from PLU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication).

Upon thinking about the theme for my radio show, it was an obvious decision to focus on Disney. My first trip to Disneyland was when I was three. My interest in Disney is largely inspired because I grew up with it. I watched the movies, listened to the music, dressed in Disney princess outfits. I have fond memories - and plenty of photo albums - of family trips to the parks. To me, Disney represents nostalgia, family, and overall happiness. Disney will forever be stamped all over my life; it remains a significant part of my personal identity. I always strive to learn more about the Disney parks. Disney is for everyone! Never stop dreaming.
